Words of a 2 Year Old

Sloan has been saying the most hilarious things lately. I thought I would try and document a few of them.

This comment came on Saturday morning as the garbage truck came down the street.

Sloan: (Hearing the garbage truck coming) What's that?
Me: It's the garbage truck.
Sloan: Yes, he's coming to take my poopy diapers.

This comment came as I was getting dressed to go to work one morning.

Sloan: "Mom, you are wearing brown shoes. They are so pretty!"

This comment came as Sloan was sleeping in our bed at 3am because she woke up and wouldn't go back to sleep. Lee was rolling around trying to get comfortable. Ever time he moved Sloan would say:

Sloan: "Honey, stop it"

We took Sloan to Build a Bear for Valentines Day. As we sat and ate ice cream at the mall food court afterwords, Sloan turned to me, gave me a high five and said:

Sloan: "Mom, you're the best"

This comment came again as we were laying in bed in the middle of the night sleeping and an airplane flew overhead:

Sloan: "Mom, do you hear the airplane? I better go get it."

Sloan had a sleepover at Grandma's house and woke up in the middle of the night. Grandma went in her room and asked her why she couldn't sleep to which she responded:

Sloan: "Well, Grandpa is snoring too loud so I can't sleep"

And now my personal favorite...
This is a conversation that happened between Sloan and Grandma as they weeded the yard together:

Grandma: "Oh no Sloan, I can't get this weed out. It's stuck."
Sloan: "It's okay Grandma, all we have to do is say 'Oh Toodles'"
